Sabina Gilyazova, a proud Queens native, is a junior at The Bronx High School of Science. A natural creative, she mostly gravitates towards visual art, poetry, and technical theater. Sabina is involved in various community theater companies and her schools as a costume maker and stagehand. However, her first love will always remain libraries and museums. Her primary artistic inspirations are Audre Lorde, Patti Smith, and Basquiat. Sabina’s rule to live by is that art can change the world.
