HAF Summer Fellows
HAF Summer Fellows
Location: 239 10th Ave, 3rd floor, New York, NY
This paid fellowship takes place in the heart of Chelsea and offers a unique opportunity for teens to learn from a variety of curators, artists, and arts professionals. During the four-week program, teens will explore the work of contemporary artists on view in Chelsea during the summer of 2022. Fellows will learn about the many career opportunities available in the contemporary art world, from curator to educator, gallerist to art handler. The program will culminate with presentations of the fellows’ independent curatorial ideas to teens at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Upon successful completion of the summer program, teens will have the opportunity to continue their engagement at the Hill Art Foundation during the academic school year by participating in the Foundation’s Teen Curators program.
Teens will receive round-trip MetroCards and snacks on their internship days.
Upon successful completion of the four-week summer internship program, teens will receive a $960 stipend.
In light of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, teen interns will be required to be vaccinated and “boosted.”
