Born in New York City, Cate is currently a junior at Avenues: The World School. She has a passion for all things creative and whimsical, from cyanotypes to painting, drawing, and photography, and aspires to begin making more 3D and mixed media art. She feels art is an outlet for the way she notices the world, and a facilitator for presenting her inner workings to other people. Outside of academics, she enjoys running cross country and track, volunteering, concerts, and exploring the city! She plans to study all sorts of art practices in college, and looks forward to better understanding art careers to help build new connections and plan her future.
