Born in New Jersey and raised in Queens, New York, Yangkyi is a Tibetan American student. She is currently a senior at Bard High School Early College Manhattan. Yangkyi enjoys studying chemistry, math, and English literature. She spends her free time reading, painting, dancing, and hanging out with friends.
