  • Victoria Dzyuba is a senior at Midwood High School, proud Brookylnite, first generation Ukrainian-American, avid history buff, and lover of all things art and human. They are an advocate for representation in museums, as growing up they didn’t have much access to the artworks or histories of slavic people. They are interested in learning slavic and LGBT history, inspired by figures such as Claude Cahun and Mykhailo Boychuk. They are also enthusiastic about surrealist and modernist artists, appreciating the works of David Lynch, Salvador Dali, and Joan Mirò. They are excited to learn how culture influences art in the foundation’s collection, and explore how we can further expand our understanding of art as a medium.
