  • Born in Brooklyn, New York, Sydney is a down to earth, fun, spontaneous, creative, and driven person. From West Indian and Black roots, Sydney has deep interest in social activism specifically pertaining to people of color. Sydney loves to break down the nuances of  the experience of black womanhood and taking up space. She loves seeing these nuances represented in art. As she creates, she aims to take inspiration from her interests as well as her Brooklyn and Afro-caribbean background.
