  • Born in Flushing New York, Sarah Herrera is a student looking to pursue a career in art and graphic design. They are interested in connecting with people and learning from others as much as they can. They’ve always enjoyed making friends with people and getting to know them. From a young age they were inspired by the imaginative stories and worlds created by animators, digital artists and writers. They hope to be able to experience all kinds of arts.

  • Feathered wings that span across dimensions
A witness to all her glory
    which encased in golden dust
breathed life into her bodily form
who she was, what she may be
    remains but a mystery
    for her visage remains hollow
    empty neath her aurulent hood

    regardless, she stands tall above
    dignified in her posture
though as one, as one might dare
peek beyond this mirage of idealization
there remains to be seen the unseen
    peeking out from crevices
    seeping out through cracks

what lays beyond the immediately perceived
are remnants of her true character
for no one knows who she is
    her hollow face
    her cracked garments
    Her empty unpolished pedestal
She remains as fragile as she remains still
For her stillness and her fragility both as it appears,
    Keep these feathered interdimensional wings
    Reliant, immobile, helpless, and incomplete

Though below her we remain as well
Witnessing her in her potential glory
Weighted down from the very thing that lifted her up
    Her empty unpolished pedestal
