Matilda Parker is a junior at Bard High School Early College Manhattan. She enjoys baking at home, going out with friends, and practicing her art and design skills. You may find her at Heaven’s Hot Bagels for lunch, or at Prospect Park walking her dog. She is inspired by classical dutch oil painters, as well as the abstract splatter art of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. Matilda finds deep interest in the use of art as a symbol, and reflection, of the past and present.
