Although a current resident of the Upper West Side, Gia Inouye still has a fierce pride for New Jersey (their original home base) and isn’t afraid to show it. A Junior at the Convent of Sacred Heart, they spend their time locating lost props as an assistant stage manager and picking loose screws off the ground as captain of the robotics team. When they aren’t spending time with family or friends, they can be found sculpting in their school’s art room. They care about sustainable fashion and how it can be practiced by repurposing old clothes through upcycling. The many diverse styles that they see in New York has always kindled their interest in sustainable fashion. They enjoy making jam and listening to Patti Smith.
