Please join us for a Brooklyn Rail New Social Environment talk with Cloris Dong, Wu Ziyang, and Xin Wang, moderated by New Museum Curatorial Associate Calvin Wang. The talk will occur remotely on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 1 p.m. Eastern / 10 a.m. Pacific.

The conversation brings rare, nuanced perspectives from artists who make art while working in–or in close proximity to–industries of technology and infrastructure, which are themselves embedded in the cultural and geopolitical thick of things. Contextualized through the exhibition Thucydides Fever Dream, on view at the Hill Art Foundation through December 19, 2026, the artists and curators unpack what it means to operate between cultures, across artistic generations, or even between us and our non-human counterparts.
